Tink has raised over hundreds of million euros in venture capital and in the past 2 years we have grown from 130 to over 400 employees. We have recently made four strategic acquisitions which significantly strengthen our presence on the European market (Eurobits in Spain, Openwrks Aggregation in the UK, Instantor in Sweden and FinTecSystems in Germany). Tink entered the Italian market in 2019 and is today working with important customers such as Poste Italiane, BNL and Enel X. This and the coming years are going to be pivotal for Tink in Italy. Hence, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Business Development superstar to our team in Italy. 

As a crucial part of our sales team, you will help to design, drive and execute our Italian sales and growth strategy. This is a real opportunity to build a strong network, as a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions.

The role

  • Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes and together with central functions reach a final commercial agreement
  • Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions and large enterprises, as well as successfully position Tink as the future of banking technology
  • Execute short-term strategy while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify client needs and match them with Tink offering
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region
  • Represent Tink at conferences and other public speaking events


What we look for

Experience 

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of successful new sales experience, ideally selling SaaS/financial solutions 
  • Previous experience of working with complex sales with technically advanced digital products with long sales cycles and large corporate customers is highly desirable
  • Previous experience of working in a high growth international technology company is meriting
  • A consistent track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience of driving negotiations to a close, both individually and through colleagues and partners
  • Native/fluent in Italian and English
  • Network in the Italian banking and financial eco-system is a plus

  • Strong commercial acumen and hands on mentality, able to balance long term business goals and strategies into short-term initiatives and execution
  • Entrepreneurial self starter, high-paced and ability get things done
  • Strong teamwork and people skills, while simultaneously thriving in competitive environments
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • A solid interest and understanding of the business opportunities in a changing banking and financial ecosystem
  • Grit and growth mindset.
