How you'll challenge an industry

As a result of continued high growth, we are now looking to find an Account Manager to manage and the recent hyper-grow of DACH key accounts. Together with the DACH team you will play a vital role in fully establishing Tink as the number one player in the DACH region.

You will be positioned as an expert in open banking and the transformation that banks and financial institutions are going through. As Account Manager you will strengthen our customer portfolio in the DACH region and drive innovation with our partners and ultimately bring financial happiness to our customers’ and their end users. As a crucial member of Tink’s team in Germany, you will help design and execute a growth strategy. This position is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading European financial institutions.

Role responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth and generate new sales, upselling and cross-selling for our existing customer base.
  • Work closely with multiple key stakeholders to ensure a valuable relationship and develop strategic relationships.
  • Identify our key customers' business models and target innovation opportunities in order to deliver an outstanding product tailored for their needs
  • Guidance and support with major contract negotiations
  • Develop and execute on an account and portfolio management strategy
  • Diligently follow the company’s Salesforce and reporting practices
  • Own the entire process from onboarding to fully grow the Account into a Key Account

Key deliverables/achievements in 6-9 months

  • Progressively take full ownership of some of Tink's largest DACH customers 
  • Identify and deliver on activation and growth targets on this portfolio of accounts


Experience 

  • 5+ years of account management in the Financial Services / Technology space
  • Working with deeply-integrated solutions that support the programmatic delivery of financial services
  • Direct experience of working with key stakeholders at large enterprises, preferably in banking, payment, fintech and technology space
  • Experience from a fast-paced high-growth organisation working with innovative disruptive products is highly merited
  • Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills. 


 Skills

  • Methodic Sales acumen
  • Excellent business presentation skills including both oral and verbal communication
  • Ability to liaise with and influence key stakeholders
  • Hands-on mentality, able to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Excellent teamwork and people skills
  • German as a mother tongue or equivalent, fluent in English language
  • Office suite expertise
