How you'll challenge an industry:
As a result of continued high growth, we are now looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to drive new business revenue within our Banking & Lending business in Spain.
You will build our customer portfolio in Spain (banks, lenders, consumer finance companies, and neo and challenger banks). Drive innovation with our customers and ultimately bring financial happiness to our customers’ end users.
As a crucial member of Tink’s Business Development Team, you will help design and execute the team’s sales and growth strategy.
As a champion of Tink's innovative platform you will be an expert in open banking, challenging, guiding and leading our client's transformation.
This position is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading European financial institutions and companies. For Iberia, this position requires fluent Spanish & Portuguese
Responsibilities
Build our customer portfolio through a deep understanding of market dynamics and a high level of activity (meetings, events,...)
Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions, FinTech and other companies with Financial data needs
Establish strong relationships with key persons at potential customers – turn them into Tink ambassadors
Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify customer needs and match them with Tink offering
Set a timeline, plan and execute activities, gather the right Tink team in the prospect phase to eventually drive the relationships towards the signature of the contract (it’s all team work!)
Attend and speak at local conferences and events
What we look for:
Required qualifications:
University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related discipline
5+ years experience successful experience from SaaS sales/business development/sales management/consulting
Understanding of the digital/online banking industry
Previous experience of working in a high growth international technology company
A continuous track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
Extensive network in the Spanish banking and financial ecosystem (network in the Portuguese market is meriting)
Experience from team management is a plus
Strong negotiation skills and experience of driving negotiations to a close, both individually and through colleagues and partners
Native/fluent in Spanish and fluent in English and Portuguese, other languages is meriting
Personal attributes:
Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate long term business goals and strategies in to short term initiatives and KPIs
A solid interest and understanding of the business opportunities in a changing banking and financial ecosystem
Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
Hands on mentality, able to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
Entrepreneurial self starter, high-paced and ability get things done
Strong teamwork and people skills
Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
