How you'll challenge an industry:

Tink is growing fast. As a result of this high growth, we are now looking to recruit a Country Manager to establish new business opportunities in Germany. You will be the first on the ground, with the mandate to fully establish Tink as the #1 player on the German market.

You will be positioned as an expert in open banking, and the transformation that banks and financial institutions are undergoing. As Country Manager, you have the full responsibility for Tink’s growth in Germany – sourcing opportunities and driving revenue across a variety of client types.


  • Build a network of clients and partners, as well as successfully position Tink as the future of banking technology in Germany
  • Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes
  • Execute short-term strategy while maintaining a vision for sustained, long-term success
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region, and drive successful marketing projects
  • Hire, lead and develop a team of sales and marketing representatives
  • Represent Tink at conferences and other public speaking events
  • Work closely with central operations (marketing, strategy, analytics, legal, engineering and finance) in order to maximise the market’s full potential

What we look for:

Required experience:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 10+ years experience in software sales/business development in a successful Saas environment
  • Deep understanding of the digital/online banking industry
  • Previous experience working in a high-growth international technology company
  • A continuous track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
  • Extensive network in the German banking and financial ecosystem
  • Experience managing teams, and outstanding leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience closing negotiations – both individually, as well as through colleagues and partners
  • Native in German and fluent in English (other languages are a plus)

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate long-term business goals and strategies into short-term initiatives and KPIs
  • Solid interest in and understanding of the business opportunities in the changing banking and financial ecosystem
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills
  • Hands-on mentality, able to balance long-term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Entrepreneurial and the ability to get things done
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
