Tink Warsaw

We began to build our Warsaw office in 2019 and have since seen big growth. We have 130 employees in our local office and we see great potential in Warsaw and have big plans for our further growth here. Our office is located in the city centre in a very modern skyscraper.

How you'll challenge an industry:

Tink is an engineering and product company at heart. As a Senior Engineering Manager at Tink your primary responsibilities are to create a highly efficient, happy, learning and engaged department that creates and delivers high quality products on time, serving our customers to become successful.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the overall timely delivery and quality of the products multiple teams build in the area

• Be data-driven and always seek new ways of knowing and improving you services

• Continuously improve the speed and quality with which we build our software

• Improving the quality and efficiency of API connections in the area of Connectivity

• Juggle priorities and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment

• Work closely with product management and leadership team to ensure we're building products in the best way

• Optimize team efficiency and scalability of Connectivity area

• Share and implement best practices in software development

• Align your teams and your stakeholders towards ambitious goals

• Coach and mentor engineers leaders to make them grow

• Actively support recruitment and on-boarding of new employees

• Manage and monitor performance of engineering leaders as well as their teams

• Constant desire to improve and learn the latest best practices both in the business domain and leadership.

Required skills:

• 7+ years of work experience, at least 4 of those managing other leaders and multiple teams

• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience in building and leading high performance engineering departments

• Strong sense of responsibility for ongoing projects with a can-do attitude. Ability to work with different cultures in distributed teams.

• You have solid experience working in an agile development environment

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills

• Fluency in Polish and English

• Experience from the Financial Sector would be an advantage.

We build the foundation for all of our products and services that serve as the backbone of our platform. Both payments and data aggregation flows depend on the connectivity layer that our teams build.
