Tink is now setting up a Tink UK subsidiary to provide Tink’s services and products under its own license from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to the customers in the UK market where this role will play a key role in the success for the company.
What we offer:
We are now looking for a senior risk professional in the UK that will be responsible for the second line Risk Control function in the Tink UK subsidiary and will drive an improved control environment and accelerate the risk management capabilities within the company and the Group.
You will report directly to the CEO of Tink UK and have a dotted line to the Head of Risk for Tink AB.
You will also work closely with the management, compliance, security, legal, privacy and the rest of the fantastic people at Tink.
What you will be doing:
Be the primary point of contact, in regards to risk management, towards the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Implement and develop the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) strategy and risk appetite.
Ensure legal and regulatory obligations and expectations are met for the UK region.
Work closely with the business to coordinate and assist in the implementation of the ERMF, delivering a consistent approach across the Group.
- Work together with stakeholders and the business to identify key risk and implement key mitigation and/or controls to reduce these by using the ERMF and the risk management programs;

Security Assessment process
Incident Management process
Present and report a holistic view of the key risks to the Tink UK management team and the Board.
Drive improved control environment practices within the Tink UK entity and across the Tink Group.
Building key relationships with other control functions, such as compliance, privacy, and legal, within Tink UK and within the Visa Group, to further identify key risks and partner on risk mitigation.
Maintain effective risk management programs and practices, resulting in successful regulatory and supervisory engagements.
Conduct assurance reviews within the organization to identify potential unknown risks.
Build a set of key risk indicators to monitor the effectiveness of the controls
We would love to meet someone with:
Relevant academic degree (Bachelor or a Masters) and/or well respected Risk Certifications
Relevant years of experience of risk management work (financial/fintech sector is meriting) and primarily within the non-financial spectrum
Experience of presenting to supervisory authorities in the UK, such as the FCA or the Bank of England on ERMF framework, key risks and control effectiveness
Experience of implementing risk management frameworks into the first line
Experience in identifying, assessing, managing, and reporting risks
Understanding of controls and controls effectiveness; experience with controls testing.
Previous or current experience of working as financial regulator is a merit.
