How you'll challenge an industry:

As a result of continued hyper growth (already present in 10+ countries in Europe), we are now looking to recruit a Technical Product Specialist Lead superstar to lead the continued growth of our Technical Product Specialist (TPS) team in 7 locations across Europe (Sweden, U.K, Germany, France, Italy and Spain).

TPS are at the very center of Tink’s platform and SaaS driven business model. They are the key role for educating potential customers how Tink’s solutions will create the highest level of value for their business. In addition they are the interface of the Business development team, to our Product Management, Engineering and Marketing. The TPS is a technical and product expert in the business development process, and the most important driver of customer requirements. 

You will be responsible for leading and coaching a distributed team of TPS and at the same time be at the very center of Business, technology and leading clients. You will team up with Business Development in the Nordics as the solution advisor engineer and during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward by getting around technical obstacles and finding solutions. 

In addition, you’re responsible for a smooth handover to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and act as the key advisor to our Technical Project Managers and Customer Success teams. In your important role, you will also obtain a deep understanding of the financial ecosystem and add significant value on how clients can be successful with our products.

Responsibilities:

  • The TPS Lead is a senior expert responsible for educating potential customers on how Tink’s cutting edge platform solutions will create the highest value for their business. It also includes:
    • You will be responsible for leading and coaching a distributed team of pre-sales engineers in 7 locations across Europe (Nordics, DACH, France & Benelux, Italy, Spain and rest of the world)
    • Be a line manager for one TPS that focuses on business opportunities covering the rest of the world 
    • Drive the recruitment of new TPS together with the local country manager. 
    • Onboard new TPS so they start to be productive as fast as possible. (Include the members in the team so they teach best practice in both product and tech)
    • Responsible for the teams OKRs
    • Advise customers on best-practice solutions for their use cases and source requirements from prospects and partners in the product process
    • Partnering closely with the Business development team to achieve highest levels of commercial success 
    • Collaborate closely with our Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to ensure our products are world class and tailored to our customers needsSource desires and requirements from prospects and partners and convey these back to the Product organization
    • Present product deep dives to our customers
    • Join strategic meetings with current partners to up-sell our products
    • Ideation workshops to help prospects to be creative with our products
    • Come up with new use cases/solutions and be creative with how to use our products. 

Required skills:

  • Experience from leading a team of business development people or engineers
  • Worked in a position with significant B2B customer interaction
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Hands on mentality, able to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Entrepreneurial self starter, high-paced and ability get things done
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Worked with a customisable and evolving product, requiring deep understanding of the customer needs
  • Product management or project management skills from digital product development projects

What we look for:

Required qualifications:

  • M.Sc. in STEM field (Science, Technology, IT, Engineering, Mathematics)
  • 5+ years work experience
  • Worked with Product Management, preferably for a digital product, and hands on closely with developers
  • Worked in a position with significant B2B customer interaction, preferably with a customizable and evolving product, requiring great understanding of the customer’s needs
  • Experience from Fintech and SaaS businesses is meriting
  • Either tech background (developer/architect), with understanding of product and sales, or product background with tech depth
  • Native/fluent in English - other languages are meriting
