How you'll challenge an industry:

Technical Product Specialists (TPS) is responsible for educating potential customers how Tink’s solutions will create value for their business. In addition to partnering closely with the sales team, also interact with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing. The TPS is a technical and product expert in the pre-sales process, and a driver of customer requirements. 

You’ll team up with Sales as the solution engineer during the pre-sales process. You will be responsible for proactively pushing deals forward by getting around technical obstacles and finding solutions. You’re responsible for a smooth handover to the post-sale stage of the customer lifecycle and act as an advisor to our Technical Project Managers and Customer Success. You will be expected to have a deep understanding of the financial ecosystem and how clients can be successful with our products.


  • Technical product contact for prospects throughout the sales process
  • Partner with the Business Development Managers to educate prospects on how the Tink platform works, and how Tink can create value for them
  • Advise customers on best-practice solutions for their use cases
  • Identify upsell opportunities and drive adoption of new products by existing customers 
  • Source desires and requirements from prospects and partners and convey back to the Product organization
  • Collaborate with the distributed TPS team to share learnings, and constantly improve our way of working

What we look for:

Required skills:

  • 5+ years work experience
  • M.Sc. in STEM field
  • Worked with Product Management
    • Preferably for a digital product
    • Hands on, close to the developers
    • Understanding what creates business value
  • Worked in a position with significant B2B customer interaction
    • Preferably with a customizable and evolving product, requiring deep understanding of the customer needs
  • Experience from fintech is meriting
  • Either tech background (developer/architect), with understanding of product and sales, or product background with tech depth.
  • Comfortable in a sales context
  • Technical to the extent that you
    • would be able to use our API:s by just using the Getting started guide
    • easily picks up characteristics of different infrastructure services (e.g. different databases and queues) as well as security solutions
  • Swedish, native or bilingual proficiency
  • English, professional working proficiency
  • Other Nordic languages are meriting

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate long term business goals to technical solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills
  • Hands on mentality, able to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Entrepreneurial self starter, high-paced and ability get things done
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
