This is going to be a pivotal year for Tink in the UK. All of the ingredients are there for 2020 to be the breakout year for Tink and we are looking for the next super start to contribute to the team’s success. 

The role

We are looking to recruit a Sales Development Specialist to cultivate strong leads for our Sales Team as well as nurture and grow smaller customers. You will act as a trusted advisor and a credible contact to potential customers, setting them and Tink up for long-term growth.

This is a great way to get a foot in the door at Tink as there will be significant future growth opportunities within the larger organisation. You will be located at our HQ in central Stockholm and will work with Tink customers in the UK. Our diverse team comes from all over the world. We’re a dynamic group of people who have a lot of fun and when we work together as a team there is no stopping us.

You need to be highly motivated, curious and hungry for success. We are looking for a team-player who takes initiative and who is not shy to take on new challenges. You might have previous experience from an internship at a high growth tech company, at a VC firm at a top-tier consultancy, or a junior sales role in a SaaS company. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide a great experience for Tink’s prospective customers by serving as an initial point of contact for them
  • You will have hands-on experience in sales activities ranging from - analyzing and prospecting new leads, nurturing and retaining leads as well as managing your own portfolio of accounts 
  • Present and hand-over qualified leads to Business Development Managers
  • Work alongside our marketing team to continuously improve the lead generation process
  • Represent Tink at trade shows and other sales related activities in the UK
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers
  • Gather market needs and feed them back to the organisation

Required experience

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related discipline with strong academic results
  • You have 0-2 years of relevant work experience 
  • Having participated in a trainee program, internship or similar is merited
  • First hand knowledge of the UK finance, tech or fintech space
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is merited

  • Attention to detail
  • Hands on mentality, able to balance long term strategic work with operations and execution
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial self starter
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • English as a mother tongue or at least fluent proficiency.
