Tink has raised over €170 million in venture capital and in the past 18 months we have grown to over 280 people. During 2020 we have made three strategic acquisitions which significantly strengthen our presence on the European market (Eurobits in Spain, Openwrks Aggregation in the UK and Instantor in Sweden). 2021 is going to be pivotal for Tink in France and all of the ingredients are there for this to be a remarkable year for us. As a result of continued hyper growth, including closing contracts with BNP Paribas and Sopra Banking and other key fintechs, we are now looking to recruit a Sales Engineer superstar to our team in France. 

Entering Tink’s french team at this stage of our development you will play a key role in establishing Tink on the french and benelux market - it’s an unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our continued journey in the open banking and fintech space in France. You will be the technical expert in the team, and be in close contact with our headquarters in Stockholm. Your technical expertise and solution orientation will be vital for the team and our customers and hence ensure Tink’s success on the french market.

A day in the life of a Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer, you will be our technical product expert for France and Benelux, and an important stakeholder within the organization. Your day to day activities will include meeting with large corporate banks, as well as fintech unicorns and startups, to educate them on how they can integrate the Tink platform into their organization. You will be involved in everything from the sales process when sourcing use-cases together with our customers, to helping customers onboard to our platform.

Since you will be in a customer facing role, you will also be able to impact Tink’s overall delivery roadmap together with our developers and product owners in our Stockholm office. They will rely on you to source insights from our customers into our organization. 

Even though you will be working in Tink’s french office, you will also be part of an international team where we share ideas, insights, and support each other. Your role will occasionally require traveling as well, both within France and Benelux, as well as to Stockholm and other areas in Europe.

 Responsibilities

  • Day to day collaboration with external stakeholders. You will be responsible for educating large financial institutions, as well as fintech startups, on how Tink can create value for them
  • Being the source of Technical and Product expertise and advisory to clients, colleagues and prospects in the french and benelux market. 
  • Support the entire sales process from project qualification, to RFI/RFP and technical workshops 
  • Advise customers on best-practice solutions for their use cases
  • Collaborate with the geographically distributed Sales Engineer team, to share learnings, and constantly improve our way of working

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in STEM field
  • Either tech background (developer/architect), with understanding of product and sales, or product background with tech depth
  • Worked in a position with significant B2B customer interaction, preferably with a customizable and evolving product, requiring great understanding of the customer’s needs
  • Experience from fast paced work environments, Fintech, banking and/or startup is meriting
  • Either tech background (developer/architect), with understanding of product and sales, or product background with tech depth
  • Native/fluent in french and English. Other languages are meriting.
