Tink has raised over €170 million in venture capital and in the past 18 months we have grown to over 280 people. During 2020 we have made three strategic acquisitions which significantly strengthen our presence on the European market (Eurobits in Spain, Openwrks Aggregation in the UK and Instantor in Sweden). 2021 is going to be pivotal for Tink in France and all of the ingredients are there for this to be a remarkable year for us. As a result of continued hyper growth, including closing contracts with BNP Paribas and Sopra Banking and other key fintechs, we are now looking to recruit a Senior Sales Manager superstar to our team in France. 

Entering Tink’s french team at this stage of our development you will play a key role in establishing Tink on the market - it’s an unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our continued journey in the open banking and fintech space in France. You will be positioned as an expert in open banking and the transformation that banks and financial institution are going through. As Senior Sales Manager you will have the responsibility to lead the whole sales process from sourcing opportunities and driving revenue across multiple types of clients and verticals.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong network and become a trusted advisor to leading financial institutions and FinTech companies as well as successfully position Tink as the future of banking technology
  • Generate sales and create new business opportunities, while managing sales processes and together with central functions reach a final commercial agreement
  • Execute short-term strategy while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success
  • Lead workshops and meetings with key customer stakeholders to better identify client needs and match them with Tink offering
  • Build brand awareness, plan and lead marketing activities for the region and drive successful marketing projects
  • Represent Tink at conferences and other public speaking events

Required qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 5+ years experience successful sales experience, ideally selling SaaS/financial solutions 
  • Understanding of the digital/online banking industry
  • Previous experience of working in a high growth international technology company
  • A continuous track record of achieving ambitious sales targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience of driving negotiations to a close, both individually and through colleagues and partners
  • Native/fluent in French and English
  • Network in the French banking and financial eco-system is a plus

  • A solid interest and understanding of the business opportunities in a changing banking and financial ecosystem
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent presentation skills

  • Entrepreneurial self starter, high-paced and ability get things done
  • Strong teamwork and people skills
  • Pragmatic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
