Tink in the UK

2021 is going to be pivotal for Tink in the UK – all of the ingredients are there for this to be a remarkable year for us. As a result of continued hyper growth we are now looking to recruit a Technical Account Manager to our team. 

Our London office is rocketing, and we want this hire to play a vital role in placing Tink firmly on the map as the number one open banking platform in the UK. Entering the team as the seventh member you will play an important role in continuing to establish  Tink in the market - it’s a unique opportunity to have a significant impact on our continued journey in the open banking and fintech space in the UK. You will be the technical expert in the team, but also be in close collaboration with our distributed Sales Engineer team throughout Europe – as well as with our headquarters in Stockholm. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will be vital for the UK team and our customers and to ensure Tink’s success. 

 

A day in the life as a Technical Account Manager at Tink

As a Technical Account Manager, you will be our technical product expert and an important stakeholder within the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will include meeting with large corporate banks, as well as fintech unicorns and startups, to help them understand how they can integrate the Tink platform into their organisation. You will be involved in everything from the sales process when sourcing use cases with our customers, to helping customers onboard to our platform. Since you will be in a customer-facing role, you will also be able to impact Tink’s overall delivery roadmap together with our developers and product owners in our Stockholm office. They will rely on you to source insights from our customers into our organisation. Even though you will act as the dedicated Technical Account Manager for the UK, you will also be part of an international sub-team where we share ideas, insights, and support each other. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Day to day collaboration with external stakeholders. You will be responsible for educating large financial institutions, as well as fintech startups, on how Tink can create value for them.
  • Involved in everything from the sales process when sourcing use cases with our customers, to helping customers onboard to our platform by driving implementation projects
  • Partnering closely with the Account and Business Development team to achieve highest levels of commercial success
  • Impact Tink’s overall delivery roadmap together with our developers and product owners at HQ in Stockholm and include local knowledge in the development process.
  • Source insights from our customers into our organisation. 
  • Be the source of technical and product expertise to clients, colleagues and prospects in the UK and IE market.
  • Collaborate with the geographically distributed TAM team to share learnings, and constantly improve our way of working.


What we look for

  • 5+ years work experience
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in STEM field
  • Either a tech background (such as developer, architect or other tech role), or product background with technical depth
  • Experience from fast-paced work environments, such as fintech, banking and/or startup is advantageous.
  • Worked in a position with significant B2B customer interaction, preferably with a with a customisable and evolving product, requiring deep understanding of the customer needs
  • Project management skills from digital product development projects
  • Native/fluency in English
