How you'll be part of changing an industry

We are now looking for Commercial Managers to our Payment and Account information teams to shape and execute the commercial agenda. Working closely with Product, Sales and Marketing, as well as other parts of Tink such as Engineering, Finance and Operations, you will have an integral role in scaling out our products to become the foundation for EUs financial services and payments industry in the decades ahead.

Role responsibility

  • Crafting and refining the go-to-market strategy
  • Set clear objectives and support the regional Sales teams in their efforts to target relevant customers. You will follow-up pipe development with each regional sales team and help drive the deals forward
  • Win key strategic partners and grow existing ones, by supporting in key deals as part of a deal team
  • Become the expert of your segments and products, and participate in key customer meetings to pitch the product and support the deal team in the sales process
  • Drive or support key initiatives for developing the product portfolio, both for new products and existing 
  • Support Product and Engineering teams in prioritising work to ensure roadmaps are consistent with our GTM strategy and market demand
  • Follow-up and track our execution towards targets (e.g. volume growth, sales, and marketing) 
  • Be an external and internal evangelist for your product(s)


Account information

Tink’s Accounts team is unlocking access to financial data for EUs leading FIs. Products served by the team include Account Aggregation, Account Check and Balance Check. The Accounts business is one of Tink’s largest and fastest growing. Some customers served by the products are PayPal, Nordea and Lydia. 

The Accounts business is currently 20 FTEs and is a startup within the startup with plans to rapidly expand in the coming 3-6 months. The area is managing all customer facing products and are responsible for continue scaling across Europe (both growing volumes with existing customers, and signing new ones) 

Payments
Tink’s Payments team is building the future of payments by enabling anyone to pay directly from the bank account. The payments industry is rapidly transforming, and bank payments are set to challenge the dominance of the card schemes and other incumbent payment methods. In the past 6 months, we have seen a tipping point in the adoption of payment initiation, with a 100% MoM growth in volumes and steadily improving conversion rates. Our customers include PostePay, Kivra, BNP Paribas and Lydia.

To further strengthen Tink’s leadership in the sector and capture the growing opportunity, we are investing significantly to accelerate our roll-out as well as expand into new, adjacent, payment products. We are currently 25 FTEs spanning Product, Engineering, Commercial and Analytics with a plan to double the team in the coming months.

What we look for

  • M.Sc/B.Sc. in business, finance or another relevant field
  • 3+ years experience of business development, preferably from consulting and/or a hands on commercial role at a dynamic company
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking and customer centric mindset. You are naturally curious and can quickly understand key dynamics of new domains
  • Data-driven and result-oriented, with a proactive approach in keeping stakeholders up to date 
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to convey complex topics in a clear and structured way. You can navigate conversations on business strategy as well as detailed discussions of product capabilities
  • We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, who wants to be part of a journey and take full ownership of taking their product area to the next level.
